If you love your pet and are seeking training or help with a problem area, we would highly recommend the K-9 Guy! We contacted Guy regarding a problem area that we wanted to work on with our Doberman & learned so much more. Guy was very professional, very hands on, listened to our concerns & taught us how to work our dog on this problem area. He is now a different dog, but in a very positive way. He now is so eager to please us by following the commands & receiving the praise. It's absolutely amazing! We're very pleased with the results!!!

We could not have envisioned a more pleasant and SUCCESSFUL experience with training our Beagle. We had worked with other trainers prior to Guy and were sadly disappointed. Guy was exactly what my Papillon and I needed. He spent over two hours with us during the initial session. In addition to his knowledge and obvious caring for dogs, his instructions are absolutely clear. Like most people with "dog issues" I consulted training books and videos, but there is nothing like having Guy watch you work with your dog and show you not only WHAT to do but HOW to do it correctly. We asked The K9 Guy for help with training our 2 yr. old Golden Retriever the basic commands. The training sessions were very helpful and informative! We also included our 9 yr. old Chocolate lab in the training so she wouldn't feel left out and it turned out that the training sessions were just as good for her! Guy has been very helpful with our dog Oscar, a cocker spaniel. When we rescued Oscar, he was poorly socialized and had little to no idea of obedience. After just a few sessions with Guy, Oscar began listening to us more and it helped us fall in love with him more. Guy helped us to realize Oscar's limitations and what we were doing wrong with him. He immediately helped us and Tanner, our dog, feel at ease at our very first training sesion. I was amazed at how in one session we saw improvement in getting Tanner to heel on a walk, something I had not been able to do in 4 years (turns out I needed more help then Tanner)! He is extremely patient, gives easy to follow directions, and very insightful tips/suggestions. Guy has helped us improve Tanner's manners and made walks a true pleasure.

In addition, he has helped me gain more confidence in walking Tanner past loose dogs in the nieghborhood-how to stay calm, assess the situation, and tips on how to handle various situations that can arise. He also worked with us on making Tanner less territorial towards other animals that wander into our yard.

We are truly grateful for his help!

Guy worked with us and our dog in several sessions. He taught us as much as he did our dog! He was patient in his training techniques and provided written details for us to refer to and use for our training of our dog. The K-9 Guy is a life saver. Canon, a beautiful Old English Sheepdog just under a year, is absolutely sweet, funny, charming, and was driving me completely crazy! I had worked for months on her endless bad habits with classes and trainers. Guy is the first trainer to have success, and I didnt feel like a loser for not being able to handle her myself.
