I am very pleased with the training services Guy has provided my two dogs. I have learned practical techniques and knowledge to teach my dogs desirable behavior to be the great companions that they are capable of. The previous trainer my veterinarian recommended offered fixed programs: either once weekly training session (for 10 weeks) or an intensive 6-week long bootcamp session (dog stays with trainer), neither of which worked for me. I wasn't looking for a magically transformed dog but rather practical knowledge that I can use on a day-to-day interaction with my dogs to teach them the behavior that I desire. I was also busy that I wasn't able to keep up with a fixed consecutive weekly training session. Guy's philosophy allows me to tailor the frequency of each session based upon the progress I and my dogs have made, and in a sense, it is customized to my needs. I am very pleased with Guy's knowledge, experience, and ultimately the progress I have made through my dog's training with him.

Guy was thorough and patient, but also firm with our dog, who needed firmness. The dog training is really just as much owner-training, and I appreciated Guy's patience with me, also! I felt that he was always assessing the dog and trying to figure out the best way to work with him. He was not dogmatic (ha!), but would change tack if one method was not working. That said, he does have a guiding philosophy that was helpful to our dog. He also did not schedule lessons close together when he felt that it would not be helpful, so I felt that he had our best interests at heart, not just making money. He is definitely better behaved and more obedient and more pleasant to be around than he was before the training. (The dog, not Guy.) Thanks, Guy!
