We were at a complete loss as to how to train our dog Hope. She was horrible on a leash (she pulled like a sled dog)and she refused to listen to us when we told her to stop doing something. She barked viciously if anyone came to the door and if they came in the house it was even worse; she did the same thing when she saw someone on the street, along with pulling very hard on the leash. Kevin found Guy through a google search and called him to set up an appointment. I was very doubtful at first - I highly doubted that someone could really make a difference during a 2 hour visit. I was so wrong! Now on walks Hope is like an entirely different dog and it is to the point that I can hold the leash with one finger and she doesn't even realize it, she just stays right next to me. As for barking when people come to the door, she still barks some, however, once they get in the house she stops and just sniffs them. When she meets people outside she hardly ever barks anymore and she only pulls a little bit when she sees another dog. We have recommended him to all our friends and family, and we refer to him as "our dog whisperer". We are so thankful for Guy and all his help!

Upon bringing Reilly home I had researched different avenues of obedience schools & dog training available in the Columbus area. I was left with concerns as none of these avenues provided any guarantee despite the time, money & effort that would go into the training. My boyfriend and I adopted Sammy from the shelter. Our anticipation was that we would adopt an older, trained dog. Instead we ended up with a younger dog with many behavioral problems. She would lose complete control at the sight of other dogs when we would walk her. She is 90lbs, so I was unable to walk her because she would pull me down or drag me to the point it wasn't safe. Others in our neighborhood were not too happy with us either. Walks became stressful for us and Sammy. We would go days at a time without walking her because she was too difficult to manage. Then we ended up with a bored dog who began to chew and become destructive around the house. We felt like we failed as dog owners, and Guy was our last resort. We had great results after our first session. We were finally given the tools we needed to help Sammy. We requested a follow up visit because we were still having a hard time encountering other dogs, so Guy came back with another plan for us, and we have had great success! We can now walk Sammy with little effort, and actually enjoy taking her! She is no longer destructive around the house, and even visits weekly at my Grandma's nursing home. We couldn't thank Guy enough for helping us!

THE K9 GUY has done an amazing job with our dog! He is now heeling perfectly with no pulling on the leash, can comfortably remain in the "stay" position for extended periods of time, and is now very well-mannered with guests - no jumping on them anymore, lol! Before getting help from Guy, my two daschunds dragged me on walks. Now, I am the leader and totally enjoy the walks. The dogs sleep in their crates now and no longer jump on my bed at night and they don't attack at the door anymore. Guy was absolutely terrific, once again, helping me to train a new addition to my home. This time it was to work with one year old Lily (a german short-haired pointer) who was a rescue - picked up on the side of a freeway. She knew a little but didn't respond to commands at all - and would take off running if she had the chance. Guy was great in helping me teach her the basic commands and how to stay within the invisible fence. After we finished her sessions we went to the beach and she did a terrific job - she was able to be off leash and did not run off even once. Guy is great at assessing what is needed and helping both me and Lily get to our best! Thanks so much.

We are so happy that we chose Guy to help us with our 2 girls. Our problem was that the one started attacking the other. We have had both since they were pups and couldn't understand why or how to stop it. They are both spayed and got along okay before. Needless to say,it was heartbreaking to see this behavior. We love them both and when I started to read about 2 females not getting along in the same house I felt very discouraged. Some decided to rehome one or keep them separated at all times. These weren't options we wanted to do. However, we felt responsible for both and didn't want either of them injured. After trying on our own to stop the problem(time out alone, etc.)with no success we called Guy. I can't get over the fact that in one visit,he helped so much! He told us exactly what we needed to do to stop the behavior. He gave us so much insight into the problem. He didn't tell us we were making the problem worse(but after listening to him we realized that we were.) He told us exactly what we needed to change. He even wrote down his recommendations,which I have reread since he came. We have been following all of them daily,and the results are excellent. We already see a great improvement and much more content dogs. I can't thank Guy enough for his knowledge and skill with dogs. Our only regret is not calling him sooner! We highly recommend Guy for whatever goal.

I was very impressed with Guy's professionalism, knowledge, and communication skills with my dogs and me. One of my dogs was especially troublesome, and very difficult on the leash to the point that I was dreading walking her. Guy worked with her AND me to demonstrate how to communicate to my dog what my expectations were and the positive results of behaving properly (praise, petting and a MUCH more enjoyable walk for both of us). Guy obviously loves dogs, is very knowledgeable about their thinking and behavior, and is patient with both owner and dog. My dog now walks at my side and is a pleasure to walk. As Guy points out, such behavior changes require consistency, firmness, and praise for the desired behavior. I was amazed how quickly my dog responded once I knew what to do. I am so grateful to Guy for his help, and I highly recommend him to others, especially if you're feeling like you've tried everything and nothing seems to work with your particular dog. Guy is WONDERFUL! I recently adopted a lab mix from the pound. I realized when I brought her home that she showed extreme aggression towards other dogs in the neighborhood. To the point where walks were becoming out of the question, doors and windows had to be shut/covered at all times, and I feared I would not be able to keep her. In ONE visit Guy gave me the tools on how to help her. She has done a complete 180 since that visit!! Walks are now a joy, and she continues to amaze me everyday!!
