Professional Affiliations

As a Certified Professional Trainer, I have maintained the following professional affiliations since 2007...

First, I am a member of the NK9DTA association. Membership is limited to graduates of the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. This professional school is approved by The Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools, and teaches dog professionals from around the world. Details of what this training included can be found on my bio page. Owners considering professional help should understand any potential trainer's education. This school included daily "hands-on" work with an untrained dog, classroom education, and "in-person" evaluation of skills and knowlege by trainers with decades of successful experience.

Additionally, I am a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). This organization has members worldwide, and promotes "effective, humane training tools and methods to create success for each dog and owner". I have been honored to receive two President's Awards from the IACP for "valued and loyal service". They have also published several of my articles in their quarterly, professional journal.
