Pig Bonds With Dogs
This pig was saved after being crushed by it's mother who died during delivery. A farmer saved the piglet's life and turned it over to one of the farm's dogs. The pig was nursed to health by the dog and is now enjoying a nice life.
I found this story interesting for a few reasons. The pig's bonding with it's surrogate canine family shows how important imprinting can be for many young animals. It also shows the tremendous ability of dogs to step in and 'help' in surprising ways....
