Dog's Clues Lead to Reunion With Family After Months

wow! I am always amazed by the things dogs do !! I know of a dog that was seperated from her family due to a boating accident,(nearly 7 months!) after the family had recovered from the physical injuries they had sustained they returned to the place of the accident in hope of gaining some closure , they tented for 4 days near the accident site , on the 3rd day while they were putting together a monument for jessie (a heeler /bordercollie mix)whom they thought must have died due to the severity of the accident . Anne and the children were very emotional and there was a lot of crying and laughing at memories ... to make a long story a bit shorter... that night they kept hearing a dog crying and howeling in the distance , this went on for a few hrs. on and off untill anne's husband got up to see if he could find the crying dog, thinking he had been unable to help his own dog maby he could payit back by helping someone elses. he called and whistled for about 45 min but the dog was quiet now so he went to bed. when they got up in the morning everything from the monument was strune across the campsite and the toys were no where to be found .... after following the trail of stuff they found the faithfull jessie hiding in a whole with all the family belongings she could collect after a few min hesitation she was convinced that they were her family and started howeling and jumping around ... she was healthy except for a break at the tip of her tail that was already well healed
