Dog Saved With Mouth-to-Mouth

The dog in this story is very lucky to be alive after it accidentally hanged itself. The dog was unresponsive when it received mouth-to-snout resuscitation for several minutes. The dog had been leashed on a play set by children.

As a safety note, there are several lessons to be learned here. First, children don't always understand potential hazards. Supervision with pets is important not only for the pet's safety, but also the safety of the children. Second, any dog that has a leash on needs to be supervised - even on flat ground or in a home, the leash can become tangled on items causing harm to a dog.
