Pilot Dogs

This story out of TX does a great job giving a glimpse of how much work goes into preparing a dog for service work - work that takes a significant amount of time and money. Right here in Columbus, Pilot Dogs has been providing seeing eyes for the blind. This local organization has been training dogs and their blind owners since 1950, and trains about 150 teams each year - far more than the TX group in this story.
